Publishing a WordPress Post or Page

When you’re ready to publish a post or page, simply click the “Publish” button in the post editor window’s toolbar — or choose “Publish Post” from the “Blogging” menu, while the post window is active.

If the post’s “Status” is “Draft”, TypeMetal changes it to “Published”. TypeMetal then uploads the post to WordPress, preceded by any new Media Library items that the post depends on.

If publishing is successful, TypeMetal closes the post editor window, and opens the published post in your default Web browser (e.g. Safari).

Both of these behaviors are configurable in TypeMetal’s “Blogging” settings panel.
