TypeMetal collects a limited set of user data, for the sole purpose of providing content management, authoring, and related necessary account authentication. This includes:

• Prompting the user for a site URL, username, and password for each WordPress account that is added. This information is used for the sole purpose of syncing content between the user’s computer and the connected WordPress site(s). The login information is stored encrypted in the user’s macOS Keychain and is never shared with any third party.
• Remembering URLs that have been copied to the pasteboard while TypeMetal is running. This information is used solely to facilitate auto-completed creation of hyperlinks when the user is authoring content, and is never shared with any third party.
• Saving copies of photos or other images that the user adds to a WordPress post or page, for the sole purpose of being able to publish those photos/images to the user’s site.
