Apple has released macOS 27 Golden Gate as a free software update, and we’re delighted to confirm that Tagboat is ready to serve you on this latest version of macOS. We noticed a crash in file indexing that affected some users, and have released a quick-turnaround fix in Tagboat 1.0.4 that safeguards file indexing so your tagging sessions won’t be interrupted.

Get the latest version of Tagboat on the Mac App Store, and please feel welcome to reach out to our support email anytime, to let us know what else you’d like to see and how Tagboat can serve you even better!

If Tagboat has helped get your files better organized, we’d love to hear about it! Social media mentions (we’re @CoherenceLabs on X), and reviews on or off the App Store, are especially appreciated, and help keep Tagboat chugging along.

Thank you for the support that’s made Tagboat possible! We’re excited for future enhancements yet to come!

Whether you’re a student or teacher heading back to school, or just looking to do some Fall filesystem housekeeping, Tagboat has you covered. As always, Tagboat is free to download from the Mac App Store, and from now through September 12th you can get its powerful Pro features at reduced buy-it-once and subscription pricing: save 50% off 3 months of Tagboat Pro, 25% off a year, or 17% off the buy-it-once price.

Download Tagboat for free on the Mac App Store, and choose “Get Tagboat Pro…” from the Tagboat app menu to take advantage of this special Back-to-School pricing while it lasts!

Happy tagging, and thank you for your support!

Tagboat development continues, with the 1.0.3 update bringing better keyboard navigation that keeps you moving without interrupting your flow! A multi-file selection should now be reliably preserved when you hit [return] to apply tags, enabling you to move into the fast lane by tagging several files at once. Loss of arrow-key navigation in the file list should no longer occur, and hitting [esc] from there should take you back to the “Managed Folders” list reliably, so you can admire your tagging progress and easily navigate into any other managed folders you’ve set up.
